  • Early childhood is a time of big feelings, rapid development, and growing independence. Our therapy services for preschoolers support emotional regulation, social skills, and early coping strategies through play-based and developmentally appropriate approaches.

We work closely with parents and caregivers to help children navigate challenges such as separation anxiety, tantrums, sleep issues, and transitions, building a strong foundation for healthy emotional growth.

  • As children grow, so do their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. For our older kids, we blend play-based approaches with age-appropriate CBT and psychoeducation to help them better understand their feelings, build confidence, and develop healthy coping tools.

Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, big emotions, or school stress, we create a supportive space where they can express themselves, learn skills, and feel empowered. Caregiver collaboration is an important part of the process, helping families grow together.

  • Adolescence is a time of big changes—socially, emotionally, and personally. Our work with preteens and teens supports them through life’s growing pressures, helping them navigate anxiety, identity, self-esteem, relationships, and emotional ups and downs. Using a blend of talk therapy, CBT, creative expression, and skill-building, we meet teens where they are and help them build insight, resilience, and healthy coping tools.

We also collaborate with caregivers to support communication and connection at home while respecting the teen’s need for independence and trust.

Whether you're navigating transitions, managing stress or neurodivergence like ADHD or autism, seeking clarity in relationships, or simply longing for more balance—therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you.

Together, we can create a safe and nurturing space where healing and growth happen at your pace. You’ll be met with curiosity, not judgment, and the freedom to explore what matters most in your life.

Whether you're facing parenting struggles, sibling dynamics, life transitions, or emotional stress in the home, we support families in identifying patterns, building understanding, and creating healthier ways of relating.

Using a collaborative and strengths-based approach, we work with your family to meet your unique needs and goals, helping each member feel heard, respected, and supported as part of the process.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing

  • EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a research-supported therapy that helps people process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences.

It works by using bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements, tapping, or sounds—while recalling parts of a painful memory. This helps the brain "reprocess" the memory and release stuck emotions, allowing it to feel less overwhelming over time.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR doesn’t require going into every detail of what happened. Instead, it helps the brain do what it’s naturally wired to do: heal and move forward.

    EMDR Explained

  • EMDR is also highly effective and adaptable for children. Using creative, playful, and age-appropriate methods, EMDR helps kids process scary or upsetting experiences without overwhelming them.

We often incorporate storytelling, drawing, or movement to make the process feel safe and engaging. Kids don’t need to talk in detail about what happened—instead, we help their brains and bodies let go of distress in ways that feel natural and gentle.

EMDR can support children who are struggling with:

    • Nightmares or fears

    • Separation anxiety

    • Behavior changes after a stressful event

    • Medical trauma or accidents

    • Bullying or school-related stress

Parents are part of the process too, so your child feels supported every step of the way.

  • For adults, EMDR can be a powerful tool to work through a wide range of concerns—whether related to a single traumatic event, long-term stress, childhood wounds, or emotional patterns that keep resurfacing.

You don’t have to relive everything or have the “perfect” memory to begin. EMDR helps you process difficult experiences in a safe, contained way, at your own pace. Many clients report feeling lighter, more grounded, and less reactive after treatment.

Common reasons adults seek EMDR include:

    • Trauma and PTSD

    • Anxiety and panic

    • Grief and loss

    • Low self-esteem or shame

    • Feeling stuck despite previous therapy
